There has been a great deal of misinformation reported in various publications, particularly in the Providence Journal, about the new fireworks' law which the General Assembly passed and Governor Carcieri signed which made Rhode Island 1 of 46 states to allow our local businesses to sell some type of fireworks. The information contained in the attached press release may prove to be very helpful if your constituents have questions about the new law.
